The Supreme Mystery, Colin McAllister and Christopher Adler **POSTPONED
April 20, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
**Due to COVID-19, this concert has been postponed**
The French anthropologist and ethnologist Claude Lévi Strauss wrote that the invention of melody is “the supreme mystery in the sciences of man.” This concert celebrates the creation of melody through a variety of works from different historical periods. We’ll hear two concerti: the early eighteenth-century Concerto in D Major by Antonio Vivaldi, and from the pen of British composer Richard Harvey, the thrilling and virtuosic Concerto Antico.
This concert is FREE of charge, and no tickets are required.
