ABOUT
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my website! I'm a classical and jazz guitarist, and sometimes conductor, I also write about apocalypticism, with an emphasis on the Mediaeval period. I'm the Director of Humanities and an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where I teach courses in Humanities and Music History, and direct both the Sagitta Guitar Ensemble and the UCCS Jazz Ensemble.
Here in Colorado Springs you can find me performing regularly with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, the Hennessy 6, Dizzy Charlie’s Jazz Pop-Ups, Pikes Peak Jazz & Swing Society, and Broadmoor Entertainment. Recent out-of-town concerts have taken me to California, Oregon, Illinois, New York, and Mexico City. My wife, Barbara, has her own cooking business called Cocina Corazón. We have four amazing kids—two at CU-Boulder, one at Emerson College, and one at Mission Bay High School—and two cats named Borla and Panchito. When I'm not making music, I enjoy mountain climbing, trail running, pickleball, chess, and the never-ending process of mastering Latin.
